Last October, TxDOT announced the recommendation of the No Action Alternative on the TTC-35 environmental study to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in a news conference. Now, the TTC-35 Tier One Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) is recommending the No Action Alternative as the Preferred Alternative.  If the No Action Alternative is selected in the Record of Decision by FHWA, a study area for a TTC-35 would not be chosen and the TTC-35 project would end.
The TTC-35 Tier One FEIS is now available online for public review at http://www.keeptexasmoving.com/index.php/ttc_35_tier_1_feis.  The FEIS will also be available in most libraries throughout the study area and TxDOT District and Area Offices statewide by April 23, 2010.  The comment period will end on May 24, 2010 and comments can be submitted online through the link above.
Although transportation needs continue to exist within the I-35 corridor, those needs will have to be addressed by other projects.  As those other projects are proposed, they would need to be studied through a separate and independent planning and environmental process and associated public involvement.

The SCTSRPC currently does not have a meeting scheduled. The following is information for the public interested in attending the 1-35 Segment 4 meetings.
